Internship Opportunity: Production & Design Coordinator (Jaipur-based)

Reporting to: Founder and Design Director, Mustard Living, Toronto, Canada
Duration: 3 Months

The Role:
We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented intern to join Mustard Living as a Production Coordinator. This is a unique opportunity to work with an international brand while being on the ground in Jaipur India’s craft capital. In this role, you will act as our eyes and ears on the ground, bridging the gap between our design vision in Toronto and our skilled artisan partners. You will play a key role in supporting production, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring smooth execution across the supply chain. Your primary focus will be to help bring our Fall 2026 collection to life, ensuring every product meets our high standards of quality, craftsmanship, and design integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be a liaison between the design director and vendor partners in the field Inspect block print alignments, dye consistency and final quality for our products.
- Provide regular photo/video updates on production timelines to the Toronto offic.
- e Identify new artisanal techniques / products that align with our "lived-in" aesthetic.
- Create content ideas for our social media, short newsletters for our subscribers, preparing product catalogue, brainstorming ideas for upcoming collections.
Who We Are Looking For:
Current student or recent graduate of IICD Jaipur (Soft Material Design or Fashion Clothing Design preferred) with a passion for creativity Deep appreciation for traditional Indian crafts and sustainable production. Strong communication skills and the ability to navigate local manufacturing hubs. A "can-do" attitude with an eye for artisanal detail.
Stipend: Will be discussed at the time of offer.
